After graduating from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy, I trained as a bookbinder and conservator of paper and books in Aosta, Rome and Ascona (CH). This dual training has directed my research in bookbinding towards unobtrusive and discrete bindings, with minimal use of adhesives, suitable for conservation.
In 1993, I opened my own workshop in Milan. In 2005, along with other like-minded individuals, I founded the Association Professione Libro, whose aim is to promote Book Arts by organizing courses, seminars, exhibitions and book-related events.
